Seeking Advice: Navigating New Marriage After Talking to My Husband’s Ex

Hey everyone,

I need some advice and thought this would be a good place to ask. So, here’s the deal: I recently had a pretty deep conversation with Gianna, my husband Joshua’s ex-wife. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be really eye-opening.

Gianna and Joshua were married for a few years before things fell apart between them. When Joshua and I got together, I couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty, like maybe I was stepping on someone else’s territory or something. But after talking to Gianna, I realized that she doesn’t hold any grudges against me or Joshua. She even said she’s happy for us and that she’s moved on with her life.

This conversation was such a relief! I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. But now, I’m in this new marriage with Joshua, and I want to make sure I’m doing everything right. Starting fresh is great, but it’s also kind of scary.

So, I’m reaching out to you all for some advice. How do I make sure I’m building a strong foundation for my marriage with Joshua? What are some ways to keep our relationship healthy and happy? And how do I fully let go of any lingering guilt or insecurities?

Any tips or personal experiences you can share would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
