Need Advice: Trying to Reconnect with My Ex-Wife After 30 Years
Hey everyone,
I’m William, and I could really use some advice right now. I’m 54 years old and feeling pretty lost. Here’s the deal: I was married to my ex-wife, Emma, for 30 years. We had our ups and downs, but overall, we had a good life together. A few years ago, we decided to part ways, thinking it was the best decision for both of us.
Recently, I’ve been feeling a strong urge to reconnect with Emma. I realized that I still love her and miss the life we had together. So, I reached out to her, hoping we could give it another shot. But it turns out, it’s too late. She’s moved on and is in a new relationship now.
Now, I’m sitting here at 54, feeling like I’ve hit rock bottom. I don’t have a job, and I don’t have a partner. I feel like I’ve lost everything that mattered to me. I’m not sure what to do next. How do I pick myself up from here? How do I find a new purpose and direction in life?
If any of you have been through something similar or have any advice on how to move forward, I’d really appreciate it. I’m open to any suggestions, whether it’s about finding a new job, meeting new people, or just getting through this tough time. Thanks in advance for your help.
