Seeking Advice: Family Neglect and Tough Decisions
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m reaching out because I’m in a bit of a tough spot and could really use some advice. My name is Lillian, and I have three children: Louis, Gregory, and Nora. Lately, I’ve been feeling quite neglected by them. They rarely call or visit, and it seems like they’ve completely forgotten about me.
I’ve always been there for them, supporting them through thick and thin. But now, when I need their help and companionship the most, they are nowhere to be found. I recently warned them that if they don’t start helping me out, I would sell my property and use the money to pay for a stay in a retirement home. I thought this might make them realize how serious the situation is, but I’m worried that I might have been too harsh.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it? Do you think my ultimatum was too extreme? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Lillian
